I was up early this morning to go help my parents get off to the grocery store.  I'll tend my animals real quick then try to make a run to the stores for dog food and some groceries... then my vet wants to see my little hen with the broken leg again  lol.  Some folks found a kitten at work and passed it off on me (SUCKER) so I'll take it along with me in hopes of leaving it there to find a home.
Maybe a haircut if I have time before work.  No exercise as today is a " rest" day HAHA

B - P28 toast w/ 1/2 slice cojack cheese
L - tilapia and veggies (I WILL go buy tilapia today)
S - PURE protein
D - probably tilapia, cheese and veggies again
S - cottage cheese , sf jello w/ fruit

any other snack will probably be turkey pepperoni, cheese, triscuit thins

Goooood morning!

Today is an ordinary day. I have to stay in the office late to interview someone on the west coast for a story I'm writing but that's ok. With the girls gone I've been getting the edits done on my protein shake book (thanks, Kelly, for helping!) so that I can finally get this puppy to print! So I'll be working on that as well. It just occurred to me yesterday that the thing should have both a table of contents and an index, neither of which I feel like crafting but...you know how that goes.

Eats today:

1. Had a few swigs of Hood Calorie Countdown chocolate milk
2. Click Frapp in a moment
3. Shrimp 'n Eggs (and photo'd it for the blog finally!)
4. Either an apple or a sf caramel pudding
5. Not sure. I'm broke as a joke so I'm living out of my fridge. Might make myself some chicken salad or tuna
6. NSA fudgesicle

I ate nothing but crap from 7:30pm to midnight last night.  For reals.  It was bad.

I also had an hour and twenty minutes commute to an all day meeting for work this morning due to an accident blocking the HOV lane and 3 regular lanes.  My drive to my everyday facility is 10-12 minutes with zero traffic at all.

24 oz of water and 20 oz of Snapple diet on the drive to work today.

B - Greek yogurt with nsa fruit ****tail and splenda.
s - decaf with ff creamer and splenda
L - provided at my meeting.  It's usually a sammy with fruit/chips/cookie. I'll eat the protein and fruit and I brought cottage cheese, an apple, and protein bars if I need to supplement.
s - I bought a Pure Pro 50 protein drink at the gas station this morning.
D - no clue.  Something with squash cuz I'm rolling in it.

Lots of water to combat this fluid gain from my carb fest yesterday and Sunday.

I plan a run tonight, I have all my gym goodies.  Hopefully I can get back towards home by a decent enough hour to stop at the gym.

Starting to feel the stickiness of summer here and I am not loving it  Thankfully I don't sweat nearly as bad as when I was MO.  But mine is more genetic (thanks daddy!) and I'm having hot flashes so I still sweat more than the average bear, I think.

Yesterday there was a b-day here so I ate a good 1/2 cup of Friendly's vanilla with a spray of whipped and some rainbow sprinkles.  Wasn't too bad but I got the sweats and the rapid heartbeat so I was close to a full dumping episode.

Today:

Wake-up: FF latte from home
2nd Wake-up: Grande Skinny Cinnamon Dolce from 'Bux
B-Quest bar
L-Wedge of frittata, greek yogurt, raspberry
S-Apple with a couple of tbsps of pb
D-boneless pork chop, black-eye peas and I know the husband will make that box of stove top in the cabinet so I will have a good 1/4 cup of that.  Fortunately that is all I can eat of that.  But just in case I measure and keep away from the pot.  Stuffing would be a real danger for me.  Loooooove stuffing.  Or as I was raised to call it, dressin'  (miss you everyday grandmother)

Everyone have a good day!

Yes, I can see you wear the "sucker" sign as well.  Husband and I are both bad.  Last time I had a cat at the vet a woman came in with a box of kittens she had found at a local supermarket left by the dumpster.  They knew her or I might have doubted her story.   Anyway they were looking for foster's since the local shelters couldn't take them right away.  Yea, I was a whisker away from volunteering.
But live in a townhome with 4 cats now so it just wouldn't have been fair to them.  Territory is cramped now.

Hope your hen with the broken leg recovers quickly!

oh yeah... of my 4 dogs one is a purchased purebred, one is from the county pound, 2 were found by a lady and after a month no owner found so I took them rather than letting them go to the pound. All of my cats are foundlings.   I was able to guilt my vet into taking this little one though.... told them it would be completely irresponsible of me to take on another pet when I have trouble caring for the ones I have now.  (My vet lets me run a tab, and I am only really having trouble because of a lot of initial costs with the found dogs like getting them 'fixed', microchipped, etc.... but it sounded good!)

You know how somedays it's really just better to stay in bed? Well today was NOT one of them! Slept great, got up, got busy and am working on plans, strategies and issues at work (funny how I work best when I have a plan)!

B: chocolate protein shake
L: GF homemade pizza and sweet pickles
S: string cheese/turkey bites
D: chicken, brown rice, spinach salad
S: hot chocolate and something high protein

Well today is the day before my one year mark. Hmmm, of course I'm feeling great, but I'm having some unexpected poignancy feelings. And that's so NOT me. Oh well, I'll deal with the emotion thing and and then kick it to the curb and continue on the journey.

That said, got to get to the gym tonight for some cardio and strength training (before the heat and humidity envelop us tomorrow).

I am on break. I put my shop on Vacation Mode until July 10. I just don't want my hands in any more cake. I'm done for a short while. Even happy bakers need a rest sometimes.

But I have three more orders to make and ship out today before I can breathe a sigh of relief and relax. Blah. Don't wanna.

Breakfast today is greek yogurt with SF vanilla syrup and flax.
Lunch will be out. I have a girlfriend coming to visit today, so we'll probably hit Red Robin or something. I love their Gardenburgers.

Dinner...? No idea. Probably just soup or a bowl of veggies with cheese. Haven't been too hungry in the evenings lately.
