Weird Stomach noises after eating

I am almost 4 yrs out from surgery but for like 2 yrs now I have had this annoying weird noise that comes from my stomach every time I eat.  While I was pregnant with my son my Dr. thought my intestines were twisted so we had to go in for emergency surgery and he said he fixed all the intestines.  But the noise still continues it is so embarrassing because it is this loud rumbling noise every time and the girls at work can hear it over the cubicles and ask if my tummy is OK.  Has anyone else had this problem.  I keep thinking it is just gas moving but I have no clue :)

I'm 22 months out and I have had noises since the beginning.  Almost every time I eat OR drink.  It can be quite loud at times. 

With our power out this weekend I was really working on the extra fluids.  I normally drink room temp beverages since I don't do well with cold.  Tends to hurt.  But all the bottled water got put in the cooler.  After my first couple of drinks of the colder water my stomach let out the loudest gurgling noise.  5 people turned at once to look at me.  All I could say was...sorry?

My stomach has been very loud since surgery.  I mean, not constantly, not every time i eat, but fairly often.  I dunno why.  It is embarrassing.

I am 4 years out and my stomach has been loud from the beginning. It is so embarrassing but there is nothing I can do about it.

It seems worse after I eat and if I drink very cold or very hot liquids.

I try not to eat in small quiet spaces like my desk so I usually eat lunch in the cafeteria at work to avoid everyone hearing my super loud stomach.

OMG!  I thought i was crazy. The same thing happens to me. My nose runs when I get full. The first time it happened, I thought no way and then it happened again several times Now i wonder what the connection is.

I am 9 months post op! YES, the noises never stop! I play my radio non-stop at work....and for meetings, I purposely dont eat or drink prior.....I can must easier deal with these sounds compared to being so fat through!

 Hahahaha my stomach is always making funny gurgling noises.

Thank goodness I finally looked this up!  I have been feeling "freakish" about the noises my tummy makes.  You all have made me feel better about myself.  I kept trying to find a way to make it stop and I haven't found the answer.

Yes, it is loud!  Yes, it is noticeable! I have made a blanket statement to everyone I work with about it and now they don't even give it a second thought.  I work with kids and they sometimes give me strange looks but  I have zero control so I just go about my business.

Here is another odd question....any of you have your nose start to run when you are getting full?  It did this with my lapband, too!  What is the connection?

I was doing a search about my ever-rumbling tummy & tripped across your post.  I'm three years out and have the loudest stomach noises after I eat or drink.  I'm a nursing student, so am pretty selective when I eat.  hahaha....no one want to sit in a quite 8am class with me after breakfast!  The runny nose thing is crazy!!  I experienced it every time I ate for the first year or so.  I don't notice it very often now.  I always thought it was just me ;)
