I'm home from 7/3 RNY
WOW what a wild ride. Went to hospital at 7am and had the surgery at 9am. LOOOOOOOOOOVEEEDD the treatment that I received from the hospital and my surgeon was the greatest. Very nice, caring and professional. It looks as though i was able to keep my gallbladder. No complications at all. He mentioned that I did very well. Day of surgery yes, i was still seeing pink smurfs floating around between naps (the drugs wow), but the next day, I was able to get around with little pain. I was able to walk out of the hospital, which had my doc and nurses excited. My advice, move around, it will help with the gas. After the hospital, i was able to go grocery shopping and filled scripts until the pail was starting to kick in. Eating is a crazy for me now. Food commercials or people eating seems not to bother me like i thought it would. So hard to remember to eat now. Will be back with another update.
