So this morning I woke up with a serious pain in my lower stomach. It felt almost like a constant cramp across the whole thing. I met with  my NUT today to move on to soft foods and she had asked if I had any abdominal pain and I mentioned it but she didn't appear to be concern. When I got home It got worse. It had moved to stay mostly on the front left side and it was beginning to be painful just to sit. I took a Tylenol and it went away totally for about an hour. I should also add that by this time I had "thrown up" about 3 times. I got home from grad class and it was back, but i could lay down semi conformable. A couple hours later i was in tears because I couldn't do anything because it hurt so bad. I took 2 vicodin about 530 threw up again ( no the pills) and it went away for only about 30 minutes. After that I could still tell it was there but it was as bad. It's now back on my back left side with a vengeance. Almost near tears again.
I have a call into the hospital, waiting for them to call me back. Any advice or ideas about what this might be would be greatly appreciated!!

If two Vicodin are not helping with the pain you need to go immediately to the ER.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I would suggest calling your surgeon or going to the ER but are you having regular bowel movements? That might be something to mention to the Dr. or the ER

Pain that is so severe you can't do anything and it makes you cry probably warrants a trip to the ER.  At the least, call your surgeon (is that what you meant when you said you had a call in to the hospital?)
