Did you give away your clothes?

I donated most of mine to Goodwill or a local program called Clothes That Work (that provides business attire for disadvantaged women trying to get a decent job).

I did keep several pieces of my largest clothes, though... so I can physically SEE how large I was before surgery.  It is much more powerful than photographs. I will keep those clothes (jeans, sweater, dress, and pair of lightweight sport knit pants) forever, I think!

I didn't have a lot. Buying clothes was something I hated doing when I was bigger, so I had maybe two grocery bags of clothes, and I gave them to my mom and aunt, who are about my old size. They didn't seem offended at all.

"You are fat and will be fatter than me, so when I am no longer fat and need to throw away these fat clothes I might as well give them to my fattest friend and that is you fatty."

This made me laugh out loud. :D I had the same thought when I was debating what to do with my own clothes. I didn't want to offend anyone.
