I use the Blender Bottle with the wire ball in it. It works really well for some types of protein powder it only marginally well with others. Better than just a shaker cup without the blender ball, though.

Blender with the wire ball worked well for me. I bought 2 off of eBay for $10.00 (for both of them not just one) shipping was free and yes they were brand new!

I got a two pack of the large blender bottles wth the metal ball in them at Sam's Club for $12.00. Love them. I just put the powder in them in the morning and take them to work with me then ad water and ice if I want and they work perfect! I also ordered a smaller one from vitacost for around $5 but I like the bigger one's better if I am going to add ice!

I really like the one from BA that has the screen at the top instead of a ball. Sometimes I throw my ball in from my other shaker and use both. The screen stops all the little clumps from getting in my mouth. I just keep shaking it every few sips and they eventually disolve.

I use the large blender ball container as well.

I make one protein serving at night, freeze it, and then in the morning make another serving and put it on top of the frozen one(with the wire ball).

Not sure if that makes sense, but the frozen serving keeps the morning serving cold and allows me to sip on it for a longer period of time.

I love the little wire whisk for keeping the drink mixed, especially if I add Upcal to my drink.

I know the one I saw at walmart and in the maszgine I got for WLS has that metal ball in it. And both are 8.99. I mix my protein with milk no****er. I see that a lot of people use water. I thought that would taste funny.

I think water tastes funny with some protein powders, like Pure Protein and BSN. Anymore, I tend to use only Syntrax flavors and water tastes fine.
