OK, here is some good service dog news

I've been worrying about raising the money I need for a service dog and have a number of things going on to raise some money, including selling a bunch of stuff I don't really need on Craig's list. I just got a call that a local church wants to provide $1,000 toward the cost of the dog. I am so excited and feel so much better than I did yesterday, much more hopeful. Isn't it funny how that works?

There is a nonprofit Christian ministry that is helping me raise money and we have sent letters to a number of local churches asking if they can help with the cost. I'm really touched that they are willing to provide so much. That's like 1/6 of what I need. That's just so generous.
