Body Fortress protein wasnt covered food stamps? what?

I also purchase Body Fortress from Wal-mart.  Last week I went to purchase some and noticed at the register I was paying a bit more cash than I budgeted for.  I checked the reciept and realized BF is no longer covered under foodstamps.  I had purchased the chocolate.    This makes me a bit sad as I'm low income and struggle to balance out my needs with what I can afford.   Anyways, while on the topic of protein powders, I do not like the taste of BF vanilla - it just gives a weird aftertase.  Any rec's on an alternative  similarly priced vanilla?  I vanilla to make protein ice cream.

Pure Protein Vanilla is pretty good and no weird after taste.  Also if you have a Target near you, the Market Pantry protein is pretty good and is Target's 'generic' version of Pure Protein.  Has good stats and is about $17 a container which should last you a few weeks even with 2 shakes per day.

 Thanks everyone. We unfortunately only have one walmart here that sells food. My friend said she had to pay cash for hers too.  It totally sucks that they changed this.  I will check out target and see what they have. the target here just started selling food items.

 I think Sams takes them and they have other brands that might work for you. Some of the big stores like that will give you a one day shopping pass to "check them out"
