Start the 2 week pre-op diet tomorrow

I am very nervous about starting the 2 week liquid diet. Does anyone have any good protein shake recipes? I had my pre-op appointment on Friday and now I am really getting nervous. I hope I don't back out.

I am at the end of my two week diet. So far I like sugar free banana syrup (2TBS) with a half scoop
of vanilla or unflavored whey protein. I have tried peach, cherry, and rasberry but they were not as
good. Unjury chicken soup is really good too.

Where did you find the sugar free syrup? I have tried a couple of stores and can only find chocolate and vanilla sugar free.

I ordered from Amazon they have everything.

Hello - I'm just 10 days past my surgery so I know exactly what you are about to endure. I did find a great tasting protein drink ISOPURE. It has 25g protein 110 calories per serving and I mixed it with skim milk which gives you additional protein. While I've only tried the Chocolate I've been told that the other flavors are good as well. This brand was also on my DR's list of proteins. Good Luck!!

I can write some of mine, but I'm not sure some of the mix ins are in your plan.

I started my 2wk pre op lean diet today too...i only have a two day liquid diet before the surgery so i wish you best of luck ...keep your head up as YOU know you can do this :-)
