Dumping on Greek Yogurt all of the sudden?

I eat the Dannon Light n Fit Greek Yogurt in Vanilla and the Yoplait 100 Calorie Greek Yogurt in Cherry on a regular basis. Last night I had a protein shake for dinner around 6 and didn't eat again until 10 this morning. I had one of the Yoplait's and 15 minutes later I'm doubled over in the bathroom, diarrhea, stomach pain, seriously overheated and sweating profusely, I'm nauseous and tired. Felt great all morning until I ate that. What's the deal?
I looked up the nutritional facts on the Yoplait 100 cal greek yogurt in the black cherry ...
It has 9g of sugar for the entire container. If you are eating the entire container, that might be why. Plus its got the fruit on the bottom, so its gotta be in some type of sugary syrup.
I personally can't eat that much at one sitting and wind up eating just less than half because I'd dump on the sugar content.
Maybe because it'd been so long since you ate, you shocked your system... but still 9g of sugar is alot. Dunno what your doc's rule is on sugar, but we can't have anything with more than 3g in it.

Like Lora said, this sugar content in yogurt is mostly from the milk, so I wouldn't worry about it. As for dumping on something you have eaten regularily in the past. I have heard this happen to a couple people I know who are 2-3 years out! They don't eat anything out of the norm and BAM. So it just may be a one time thing.
Seems odd that you would suddenly dump on something you eat on a regular basis. Some people find that lactose intolerance comes on rather suddenly after surgery, though, so that may be a possibility.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Lora, I don't have lactose intolerance but one day - 9 months post op I dumped a very first time of milk and yogurt combination. Since then - I will dump of get RH with more than 6-8 gr of sugar from milk- yogurt. Unless I eat full fat yogurt - then I can have 1/2-3/4 cup of Greek yogurt with no problem. FF Greek yogurt or low fat with fruits - sugars - I get sick. The I get RH. I can eat Greek yogurt in the evening - again full fat (with some proteins added).

Did you drink something right before you ate the yogurt or do something else differently? I don't think I "dump", but I got really sick once from a greek yogurt and I had forgottenthat I had a lot to drink only a few minutes before. I thought maybe the combination of yogurt being so liquid too may have made it go through my system too quickly.
