And you will!

Ive lost about 160 lbs but im not finished yet. i just love clotbes and hate paying top dollar for them. I got a few pieces for little or nothing. I really went to look for sweaters but didnt find anything i liked.

I made out like a bandit the other day for my hubby.  We've run out of old clothes in smaller sizes, he's still losing, so off to Goodwill I went.  I got him a pair of dress slacks, a dress shirt, 4 sweaters and 5 long-sleeve casual shirts for $40!  And all of them were a good brand.  Alas, I didn't find anything for myself on that trip.  I'll have to take the time to actually try things on.  Congrats on your finds

I love Goodwill and thrift stores!!  Even before my surgery I would bargain shop there for my whole family.  The only items i always buy new are shoes, socks and underclothes.  After shopping there for years my price sense is warped lol

I love thirft stores! I use to buy an outfit at Torrid or lane bryant and spend $100. Now I go to the thrift stores and buy 3-4 outfits and I pay $30. yay!

I found so e great pieces but i have to admit shopping at good will never occured to me. Thats something i learned here at OH. I, too use to spend over $100 at lane bryant for one outfit.

The problem is my local goodwill isnt so local but definatly worth the trip. Imma start making a point of visiting there once a month.

I'm new to Goodwill also. I went there a week and a half ago and got 4 pairs of dress slacks and a matching denim pantsuit for a grand total of $24!  I can't see paying full price for clothing that I don't intend to wear for more than 4 months at the most.  It sure beats walking around in clown pants, paying full price for a new wardrobe or staying at my old weight any day.  Best wishes and happy shopping!!
There will be VICTORY after this!!!

I am still pre op, but am already planning on Good will , as well as other thrift stores. I don't know how it is where you all live, but in my area there are a lot of people who sell things on Facebook (like online rummage sales) which will be great for getting new clothes, but also for selling ones that are too big!
