Note to self:  Refined Carbohydrates are not your friend.

I've been hitting the pretzels & candy too much lately.... so I'm going cold turkey.  So far today:

B:  Power crunch bar

L:  tuna casserole (dreamfield's pasta w/ extra tuna)

More coffee than usual as I'm trying to control the carb cravings.....

I'm having Taco soup. Homemade with beans,ground beef,tomatoes,spices. I love soups. I just decrease the liquids so its more like a meal. 

Also I'll have a protein shake during my night shift.

B: two eggs/turkey sausage/half a banana
S: 1 oz of nuts
L: garden veggie burger on whole wheat/vegan hoppin john salad
S: fit 'n crisp protein bar
D: salsa chicken/brown rice/salad/lima beans
S: FF hot chocolate/string cheese/turkey pepperoni

Yoga at lunch, possibly Zumba tonight (depends on how long a wait at the polls).

Happy Tuesday!

 

B: Scrambled egg whites, slice cheese, WW toast plain

S: cheese stick, Banana

l: Chicken and brown rice soup, cottage cheese, apple

s: two mini tootsie rolls (dang halloween candy at work!), Carrot sticks,

D: BBQ pulled pork, baked potato (so sick of left overs!)

S: small romaine salad with dijon mustard, tomato, and green pepper, sprinkle of parmesan cheese

 I slept late so there was a crazy line at the polling place, so I went to the gym instead. Worked out with the trainer and then did a 30 min spin class.  The line was GONE at the polling place so I voted. Now facing down another 8hrs at work.  When I work off, I am meeting a friend at the gym for a workout, so it's a three-fer day!

B- 1/2c skim milk

pre-trainer – ww bread, peanut butter, ½ banana

Post trainer – 1/2c light chocolate almond milk

Post spin – 1/2 c light chocolate almond milk

“L” -  turkey burger (turkey patty on ww Arnold thins, provolone cheese, onions, mushrooms, pickles) and carrot / celery slices

S – Click

  • Big salad that was meant to be had with my burger  :)

D – egg /egg stirs , turkey bacon on a ww wrap w/ tomato and dab of mayo

S -  Cottage cheese w/ berries

  • Ham / cheese/ pickle roll ups
  • Quest

Breakfast:  1 light string cheese, coffee with splenda (9g protein)

Snack: 1oz beef jerky (13goz protein)

Lunch:  Salad with 1oz lettuce, 2 slices ham, 4 slices cucumber, 5 croutons 1T dressing (about 18g protein)

Snack: 1/4c dry roasted wasabi edamame (12g protein)

Dinner: 1/2 package of sweet bologna + swiss cheese cubes from Rutter's (about 19g protein)
