Bathroom problems

So, I have a sinus infection, and my doctor gave me antibiotics to take. The kind she gave me is causing me to basically be in the bathroom all day.. Am I allowed to take Imodium? Or does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I have to work tomorrow and can't be in the bathroom the whole time.

  Sorry if this blog was too much info, but I need advice!

I have spoken to my surgeon about this issue in the past.  He did recommend imodium.  I didn't take it because I usually have the opposite issue and was afraid to aggravate that.

Call the dr that perscribed the antibiotic and let them know. Some antibiotics in some people can end up causing c diff infection, which would need a different medication to fix that.
I find really good yogurt and or probiotics help.Usually probiotics.

I had really bad diarrhea a few days after surgery, and my doctor said to take Imodium.  It took several doses, but did the trick.

Well see I took 2 Imodium and they came right back up within 5-10 minutes. I may try one at a time, so we will see how that goes.
