Food has been a chore to me. I miss the way my mouth would water up when I see a plate of food.  The desire to eat has been.. uggg hardley there. Will this ever go away???

It probably will and then you will have to make choices - the hard part!!!

I initially loved not wanting food.  Now, I can eat just about anything.  The pouch does NOT tolerate rice and fried foods at all.  But I dont dump on sugar so with those few exceptions I can eat and the urge to eat came back.  I have to make good choices or the weight would come back on.  Use your time now to learn to like the healthier foods you might not have eaten before and make good choices.  (assuming that they are all on your plan).

I know it seems hard now, but seriously, enjoy it while you can...because in a year or so you WILL have a desire for food again and then it won't be quite as easy to eat less.

I agree with the others this is the time to teach ourselfs how to eat healthy. I now sometimes get the oh that sounds really good thought in my head. But then I stop myself by remembering oh yeah that's not something I should be having.... Not easy but we can do this!

I know what you mean, but I think it goes away. I have weeks where I want to eat and I feel almost normal, followed by weeks where I dont want to eat at all ( I'm going thru that now. If I didnt have to eat, I would'nt.) But I think it does go away. Cause the days I feel normal are there more than not.
