What's up for Saturday? Still eating leftovers?
I have had a STELLAR Morning!! I woke up way too early after a miserable night of sore muscles (tight neck / shoulders from holding my 2mth old great nephew so much!!!). I drove to the beach and froze my patookus off until time for my 10k run to start. ANd then????? I PR'd by over 10 minutes!!! WOOOTT!!!! Previous time (very 1st 10k) 1:20:27. Today - my 2nd 10k - 1:09:15!!!
Now I hope I can get a quick nap before my niece comes to visit one last time, they go back to Texas tomorrow :( . Then I work 3pm - 1am.
WAY early this morning I had a hot Click in Hood Calorie Countdown chocolate milk
B - STonyfield plain yogurt, Hood CC milk, Chike vanilla protien, 1/2 banana, Peanut butter
S - 1/4c chili (would have eaten more but I spilled it down the front of my shirt)J
L - Syntha 6 strawberry protein w/ Stonyfield yogurt 1/2 banana and Hood CC
S - more protein shake; apple
D - leftovers - turkey, ham, broccoli salad
S - more protein shake
yes, still eating left overs as both of us are RNY patients. We opted for a small bone in turkey breast with rib meat to cook instead of a big turkey. I have plans for every bit of the meat.
I am not eating much as I had bowel surgery on the 7th and cannot get much in due to it. I am taking advantage of not being hungry and not being able to eat very much. The scale also has been kind to me during this time.

I feel you on the shoulder/neck pain. My daughter is 15 months and I still have that issue from lots of baby cuddles. I'm just glad she still likes to cuddle. However, she started running a fever yesterday afternoon. I finally was able to go to bed at 4am. That has totally screwed me up today, of course, schedule-wise. Hope she starts feeling better soon - she seems ok as long as she is on some meds.
Since I got up later, I tried to start with leftovers for lunch. Bad idea. My tummy is not fond of eating too soon after I get up, which is why I usually stick with a protein shake. So felt pretty cruddy after just a bit of Thanksgiving leftovers and had to stop eating.
Just got done now with apple slices with greek yogurt.
Not sure on supper - depends on how the little one feels. She was supposed to go with her brothers to Parents Night Out at our YMCA so we could tackle our to do list. But now she will be with my husband and I. If she is up for it, we will go out to dinner and errands. Otherwise will cook at home and tackle the at home to do list.

Congrats on the PR!

Thank the good Lord, NO! I'm not. Didn't take a single plate home and I'm so glad. My indifference, though, has more to do with the fact that Bariatric Foodie has been in Thanksgiving mode since September and between demonstrating and photo-ing recipes, I am about sick of holiday food! Thankfully in BF time it is February so I'm onto chocolate...or sumpin...
Eats today were sort of random but here's what I've had:
1. 2 squares of my protein baked oatmeal bars
2. A chorizo empanada from the farmer's market (Saturday tradition)
3. I shared some Pringles with my niece then had a few bites of her Ramen (it's been five years since my last Ramen...dang I miss those things but I am SO grateful my pouch shuts me down on just a few noodles)
I'm about to make a Click shake and I'm making chili later on this evening. My oven door decided to go all psycho and lock and now won't disengage (from my Google research it thinks it is cleaning itself - though it is not - so I have to wait until it no longer thinks that and the lock is SUPPOSED to come undone...we shall see).
