Peanut Butter????
I have 2 teaspoons of Skippy peanut butter each night on 4 saltine crackers. That amount to about 94 calories so kind of calorie expensive for so little. Peanut butter is very high in calories and you have to watch it. But if you love it like I do, you can have it as long as it fits in your plan. Now 2 teaspoons is pretty skimpy you can almost see it between the crackers. Much more than that and it may cause you a problem. Never dumped on anything so far.

I eat it on occasion, on thinly sliced artisan toast. That is a rustic, whole grain bread that slices really thin. I sometimes buy the all natural PB and pour off some of the oil and sometimes the reduced fat or lowest no sugar syrup variety. Try a small amount to start with and only you will know if it causes you to dump.
The calories are the same regardless of whether you eat regular or RF... all they do in the RF is replace the removed fat with sugar... so I personally opt for regular peanut butter because I like the flavor and texture better (and most of the rest of my diet is pretty low fat). It is highly unlikely that 4g of sugar will make anyone dump, so it really is your choice. At least much of the fat in peanut butter is from the peanuts which is a healthier fat.

I use PB2 - powdered peanut butter. There is regular and chocolate peanut butter. It is fabulous stuff. For the regular: 2 Tablespoons which makes 1 fluid ounce when mixed with water is 45 calories and only 1.5 g fat (and none of it is bad fat), 1 sugar, 2 fiber, 5 protein. You can get it directly from the company, on Amazon or a lot of stores are selling it now. Lately I've been getting it at Whole Foods.

I'm dittoing what Amy said about PB2 and yes that is the actual name. Just PB2 and nothing else. It is divine. I only use it and no other kind. My nutritionist recommended it. Much better for you in my opinion. I just added one teaspoon of it to my Lean Cuisine today (chicken in peanut sauce) to jazz up the peanut flavor. I make it thick sometimes and other times thin and dip my crackers in it. I can't say enough good things about it. It melts in the mouth nicely with no stickiness from fat as it has been removed.
