I had mine on tuesday and just got back from Christmas shopping. Hubby drove because i took a dose of pain mexs but i had no problem walking around for a few hours. Still a bit sore but nothing major.

I didn't drive for two weeks. I had so much pain, I don't think I could have gotten in & out of my car. My mom (who luckily lives only 5 min away) came over every day after work for those two weeks to help me with things around my house, laundry, and for the first few days, getting in and out of the shower/getting dressed. For most of the day, you'll be fine on your own so if your parents can't stay that long and you have a close friend who can help you out as needed, you'll be fine. Good luck!

I basically believe what everyone.else saus. I had surgery Tuesday and my husband and friends made the comment of how I act.like I didn't even have surgery. I have 2 toddlers so my husband took a week off to.help with them but I was relatively back to normal walking 2 hours after surgery.
