LOL  I am loving the above answers.   I am only 8 mo out but mine went from a 44DD to a 38D.  However without a bra  they look lke tube socks with an orange in them.

I love the answers. I'm only four weeks out and I start at a 40DDD and I am a 38DDD now. I'm hoping mine will stay. I have never lose my boobs when losing weight so they better stay lol

Well, my pre-op bra sizes were all over the place (and probably none of them was actually CORRECT), but they were ALL 42 or higher bands (some were VERY stretchy) and cups beyond the DDD level. I am done losing (5 yrs out) and I STILL wear a 36DDD. Ys, they are significantly smaller than they used to be, but they are still enormous. The difference? Now they are very flat and wide, the nipples point to the floor, and they literally hang all the way to my waist.

As someone else already said, up size is just a measure of the difference between your ribcage and your breast size. If you lose more around your ribs than from your breasts (very common), the cup size will go up. You may also not have been wearing the proper size before.

Yeah, I knew I wasn't wearing the right size for a long time. I also think once you're bigger than a 42 band, nothing really fits right. LOL

I'm in the no boobs camp, sadly.  I still miss them :(

I went from a 48DDD to a 38DDD... the only thing different with the cup is my boobs are rolled into them like a tongue out of a Hanna Barbera cartoon.

btw...

Great, right on explanation Lora
