Saw surgeon

Had my appointment with Emma Patterson today. She said I was a good candidate and let' s set the date. The scheduler calls tomorrow could be before New year's or right after. Thank you all for praying to the one in control. He is merciful and all good.

Yay!!! I am scheduled for 3-11-13, the day after my 16 year wedding anniversary. God is definitely in control and has big plans for us. Best of luck on your journey to a new you

Congrats on getting your surgery date.  I have my consultation tomorrow.  I was hoping to have the surgery in a couple of weeks.  I noticed that yours was scheduled for 3 months away.  Your last post, you thought it might be before the new year.  I thought that was really fast.  Can I ask if you are self pay or using insurance.  I don't have insurance and I will be paying out of pocket.  I was hoping that by not having to jump through the insurance hoops it would be much faster.  Just wondering if yours is 3 months away because of scheduling or insurance.  I am so excited about this journey.  My 29 year old son had roux-en-y last year and looks amazing.  He lost over 100 lbs. He had insurance and had to go all the requirements.
