How long were you in the hospital?

No complications, and I was in the hospital two days. I could have stayed an extra day, but I was feeling good enough to go home. Besides, I couldn't take the hospital tray that they gave me--they were gross! LOL

Surgery on Tuesday morning, out of hospital after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. No complications!

Surgery on Tuesday and I was out around 3-4 on Wednesday. No complications.

Surgery at 11 am on Tuesday and released on Wednesday around 4 pm. No complications.

I had open RNY on a 11/29/12 and was released 12/3/12 (four days). I had a few complications, BUT I had the lap-band in 2007 and it was removed 9/28/12. I had to have a hernia repair and had a seroma (like a hematoma but with serous fluid build up rather than blood) from the where the port from my band was removed.

Post surgery, my heart rate, b/p, and O2 levels were slow to return to normal and my kidneys were sluggish. Within 36 hour they were back to normal and I bounced back quickly after that.

RNY on 11/06/12

I had Lap RNY and hernia repair on 11/6 and came home by dinner on 11/7. I had no complications and didn't feel bad at all, just tired for the first few days.
