To All my 5'6 women how much did you loose???

I'm 5'6", had surgery June 11, 2012. Starting weight was 271 lbs. I feel I've done well in 7 months a little over 100 lbs lost. I am shooting for 140-150. I never imagined myself in a size 12 but here I am and those are getting too big on me. I am very curious to see what size I end up at. As far as my Dr. is concerned I am a success, his goal was higher than my own, His was set at 170 lbs. I admit I do not exercise, I should at least do some walking but I haven't put that at the top of my priority list yet.  

I stick to protein and stay away from breads and pasta as they don't sit well in my pouch and leave me feeling sick. I've never been a fruit lover and still don't eat much of it either.

Kudos to you for being able to not do the scale thing. I check my weight pretty much daily but have done my best not to let it affect my moods or panic when it doesn't move down or if it goes up a little bit. I was at a bit of a weight loss stall for most of November and December and then the scale started moving downward for me again. Yeeeehawwww

I am 5'6 and starting weight was 187. I started walking the day of my surgery. i started really exercising at 2 months. I swim and ride my bike. I as walk more now.  i am 61 with arthritis so prefer exercise that is not too hard on the joints. I am currently at 160 and a size 14. I would like to lose another 10 just as a cushion against re-gain.

I find by the time I get my protein in I have little room for starch. Much of it just feels too heavy in my stomach

5 foot 6 here!  Started at 294, surgery 6/5/12, now at 168.  Not even sure what my goal is.  (My goal was size 14 and now I wear a 10)

I started exercising in November.  Due to surgery complications, I was too tired to start until then.

I'm 5'6" and I'm still losing.  I'm 6.5 months out and I've lost 96 pounds so far.  Started out at 312, currently 216.  To be honest, I haven't been able to exercise much (knee issues, back issues, respiratory illness, ugh!).  You are going to totally rock this weight loss girl!!
