I am 17 days post op, and I starter my last food phase which was soft foods slowly adding regular foods back in over the next 2-4 weeks. Wanting some ideas for a good casserole to make for dinner tonight?

I couldn't stomach anything remotely like a casserole at 17 days out, even though I was starting to add soft foods in. LOL

Maybe you could do a crust less quiche? I wouldn't expect to keep much of it down unless it was plain or had a little cheese sprinkled in.

Have you checked out Eggface's site -- great stuff on there.  :)

I love Shelly's site :)

This is too soon for 17 days post-op, but you get the idea.   Search, enjoy!

I know its strange, but I have handle everything I've ate. Nothing has made me sick yet. But I'm following my plan so that's what matters to me. They told us, if you scared to try something try it! You never know till you try. I've done really well. I'm making a very small casserole, but I do have a husband yo cook for so its for us both, not just myself! Thanks for the ideas!

Plus I can only eat 1/2 a cup, but the extras would be good for my lunches yo take to work. I see it like that.

you can eat a half a cup already?? I'm jealous I can barely get that in even now.

I know it's not a casserole but it's just as easy.. meatloaf! I loved meatloaf early out and it sat really well. You can make it in a muffin tin so each muffin size piece is 1/2 cup (I've measured lol)

Id just stay away from adding pastas or potatoes and play around with recipes til you find something you like.

Michaela I like the recipe on this link http://wellnessmama.com/4759/meatloaf-cupcakes/ minus the sweet potato topping until your plan allows it. Then by all means add it!
