Has anyone had to have B12 shots because they had issues?

yes you will need to get B12 either by a shot once a month, by inhaling a special b12 vitamin or a sub lingual b12 tablet.

NOT A BIG DEAL

your surgeon should have already reviewed this with you.

They started me on B12 shots before surgery because of the levels.  Plus finding out I have Celiac Disease.  I give myself 1 shot once a week.  Not a big deal at all but I was scared at first.  They showed me how and it is ok.

I was on b12 shots before surgery and have continued since.  Mine started years ago because of the high doses of Metformin for my diabetes wiped out my ability to absorb.  Really hasn't been a big deal.
