Can I share my surgery story?
So awesome!! Sounds like everyone had fun in the OR! That is greatness! I wish I had stayed 2 nights in the hospital-then they would've caught my pneumonia. I ended up having to go back into the hospital after I came home (after waiting forever in the ER). So that was a good precaution to stay an extra night!
So glad you are doing well! Congratulations!
Pam :)
I was scared of all the what if's leading up to surgery but you have to let it go. Have faith in your team and in reality I am aww of this wonderful life ahead of me. I watched my daughter's dance school have a moms dance class and they performed on stage at the recital I AM DOING THAT! I watched my other daughter ride on a zip line I want to do that with her next time! My daughter who is 8 hasn't really found her thing yet but you can bet I won't be watching her I will be doing it with her. My son who is 4 loves baseball I will be running those bases with him and enjoying every minute. I can honestly say I am on day 3 and I feel 98% back to normal. I took the kids to school with my hubby today, I had my protein drink well a few oz's at breakfast with the kids, did the girls hair, fought over what they were wearing, and came home and I am going to start researching some healthier alternatives for lunch for the kids. I am even going to the grocery store today I need more soup the kind I bought was gross! My first hour was rough with the gas but once I realized just keep burping and the gas started moving around I felt better. Good Luck everyone and to all the Vet's who helped me along the way THANK YOU!!!!
