My bathroom is on the second floor. Will I have issues with climbing stairs after surgery?

No not if you take it slow and make sure you get in all your water so you're not dizzy. Hanging on to the hand rail should be enough but you may want someone there with you the first day.

Probably not, unless you have some sort of severe complications.

I went home the day after surgery and had to climb to the 2nd floor bedroom.  No problem, just take your time.  I would ask someone to walk with you the first time or two if available - but I had no problems with it 24 hr after surgery.

Thank you to all of you for the feedback. With surgery quickly approaching, all kinds of strange questions are rolling through my head.
