How were your incisions closed? Drainor no drain?
I had a drain for about 2 days, taking it out was excruciatingly weird, I don't even know if it was painful it just felt so WRONG, probably the worst thing that happened to me in the hospital. My incisions were also glued shut and they are all scabbed now but I haven't taken the glue off because I don't want to mess anything up.
Glue and no drain.
The glue was ITCHY.

Glue, no drain, steri strips over the incisions. The steri strips caused a reaction (itchy, red raised welts) but I was told that was common and nothing to worry about. I was allowed to shower by the time I left the hopital, but no soaking in bath tubs or swimming for several weeks.

Sounds like an allergic reaction my glue had to be removed finally 2ish weeks post op when i get the same thing raised red welts get a 2nd opinion sounds like an allergic reaction to me!!!!
I have had about 8 different surgeries since 2004 and every single one of them have had all incisions glued. That way there are no unsightly small hole scars (from staples or sutures) alongside the incision scar(s). I am therefore surprised when people mention that they HAVE staples, etc.
