Hello thrush.... you are back??

I was told by my PCP that the thrush was gone. I didn't really feel it in my mouth anymore and I was sooooo happy! I stopped taking that meds like my PCP told me. Well, yesterday my mouth felt DISGUSTING!!!! I looked in the mirror and what do I see?? White patches! DAMN!!!!!!!! So i am back on the nystatin which makes me gag everytime that I put it in my mouth. I'm trying to be positive and not let it upset me but REALLY?????

I just wanted to vent.

You have been through a lot of stress in the last weeks and that makes the body less able to fight off infection. Please try to take good care of yourself during this time. You have probably been going without enough sleep or rest and are both physically and emotionally tired. When I was going through his cancer with my husband, I would end up with things like yeast infections, skin rashes, sinus infections, and just plain exhaustion. Make sure you are getting enough to eat and drink and getting plenty of rest. Things will get better.
