how can this be possible?
I am four weeks post op. In the first 2 and 1/2 weeks i lost 22 pounds. Very glad. But the past two weeks i have lost nothing. I weighed myself tonight and the scale said i gained six pounds. Do you weigh more at night than in the morning? I usuually weigh myself in the morning. I drink alot, have 600-700 calories a day and 70-90 grams of protien.
It is completely normal and VERY common. There is a post on here about every other day about the "stall" at 2-3 weeks post-op. Yes, you weigh more at night than in the morning. Much of it has to do with the food and fluid in your body. That wouldn't normally be a six pound difference, but everyone has normal fluctuations in water retention that can be six pounds.
Dont worry so much about what the scale says. You are probably going to have periods like this throughout the journey. Focus on doing what ou are supposed to be doing. The weight WILL come off if you follow the rules.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
