When am I gonna stop losing my hair?

I'm about 4 months out, my vitamin blood levels are good, and I've switched to Unjury protein shakes, but I'm STILL losing fistfuls of hair every time I shower. And I can't just stop washing my hair! This IS going to eventually stop happening, right???

Yes, it WILL eventually stop.  It usually starts sometime in month 3 or 4 and commonly lasts 4 or 5 months. There are always individual variations, though, and those can be significantly different depending on medical history and nutritional status.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I had fine thin hair to begin with so the additional hair loss was not good.  My hair loss did stop although I can't tell you when.  I am almost 15 mos postop and have not seen any new hair growth.  I read on OH where some say they did have new hairs come back so I hope I eventually will as well.

Yes it will stop eventually!  My hair loss is finely slowing down.  I am almost 8 months out and have lost over half my hair.

My husband told me not to scrub so hard  LOL

I'm 7 months out and FREAKING over my hair loss !! It's unnerving when talking to people you see their eyes drift up to my hairline. I do have a couple of wigs but sometimes feel just as uncomfortable wearing them as I also feel people wondering why I'm wearing a wig. Maybe I'm just paranoid--lol !!
