If you have enough excess skin below the belly button, insurance will often cover skin removal (but not muscle tightening as in a full tummy tuck).  Insurance almost never covers arms lifts.

First you have to make sure your coverage covers reconstructive surgery after massive weight loss.  Many do not.  If they do, the guidelines are very different by plan (not company, but plan).  I have not heard of any that cover the cosmetic aspect such as tummy tuck, I've only heard of skin removal.

My insurance does cover it.  My PS took one look at me and told me not to bother with insurance because unless it hung a certain number of inches down, they'd deny it.  I paid for my breast lift and lower body lift out of pocket.

If you don't mind me asking, how expensive was it...not looking for an exact number but an approximation.  Thanks.

In all my years here, I only remember 2 instances where arms have been covered.

Start saving or make sure your credit score is good so you can get a loan.
