Does your shoe size change?
I had to replace SOME of my shoes but not all on them -- just the ones that were stretched out in width (loafers, pumps, etc.) but not others (athletic shoes, sandals, etc.) because my actual size didn't change (I still wear an 8.5) but now I am a solid Medium width whereas before I either had to find a loose Medium, buy a wide, or buy a half size up to get the extra width.
It really depends on where you carry your weight. I didn't have much fat on my feet, so despite losing 190 pounds, only the overall width of my foot changed. Other people have a lot of fat in their feet and have to replace all of their shoes.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I am 6 weeks out today and the first week out my sandals were slipping off, my feet were no longer swollen yay!! Looking forward to shoes that fit and hey, maybe even nice shoes with a little heel!!

Yes I did and I don't know what size I wear now exactly...Before my surgery I bought a boys size 5, or sometimes a ladies size 7 wide, and now I am lucky to fit into my old shoes...I take socks and roll them up in the toes, and sometimes wear two pairs of socks....the shoes that I can find right now are a child size shoe, and they look like something one would wear in grade school, of course!. I am looking for a resource for "grown up looking" shoes in very small, sometimes wide sizes! Anybody know of such a place?
