Well technically I guess yesterday's surgery, went great! I haven't been in very much pain since surgery around 11am and have gotten to sleep pretty much all day except when I get to go walk. Boy does that feel nice. I thought walking would be quite difficult so I'm pleasantly surprised. After my cholecystectomy and hernia repair in September, I did a walk for Down Syndrome 3 days later but I didn't want to get my hopes up this would compare. I was really nervous the morning of GB but now that it has happened I'm finding it so hard to believe. They really did it?! I can't wait to see some results. I lost 10lbs on my 10day liquid diet so bring on another two weeks! All my Drs and nurses get a big kick out of how happy and "alive" I am for just having had surgery. I say, of course! I just had amazing LIFE CHANGING surgery. Everything is all going to be worth it Hope everyone else who had surgery recently is doing wonderfully as well

Great attitude!  You'll do wonfderful!  I went in the other day for my 9 mo checkup and asked my nurse when they do the 'after' photo.  She said they normally do it at the 1 yr mark, so we will be doing it next appt.  When they did the 'before' shot I had to stand up straight in front of the wall with my hands at my side...I told her that won't happen this time...I gotta strike a pose!!  I said they are putting my pics in the FRONT of the book!  She laughed and said "you are so cute, and I'm sure we can make that happen!"
