I've always had a round plump face. Now losing so fast I have two lines going from the corners of my mouth down. Any one else notice  you get wrinkles on your face as you lose ?  Hope they go away !

Yep.  Sometimes they go away and sometimes they don't.  It just depends on how much elasticity you have left in your skin. Otherwise, about the only thing you can do is something like Juvederm injections every year to plump the lines back up.

You may also get them under your eyes.

I'm 35 and I already see "shrinkles" forming on the front of my next, depending on the position of my head.  A little diappointing but on the balance of positive and negatives doesn't change much.  :)

Shrinkles! Love it! I'm six weeks out and I'm noticing them everywhere.

Yep, on my face and everywhere else too LOL  My thighs look like they are 90 not 43 years old.

But better than having all the skin filled up with fat!

I am having some plastic surgery in the fall, but not on my face. (at least not in the near future for the face, maybe next decade :)

Oh dear, Sarah it's going to fall like the rest of you will.  It can't be helped.  It's all part of the sacrifice and it may not be as bad as you think.  But your face will change dramatically, most do, that's why no one knows who I am, because my face changed so drastically to others.  To me, yes it has but to others they put their hands over their mouths and go I never would have recognized you!  It's all good, because I think I look a hell of alot better than I did.  Hang in there.  I would have a facelift but I'm too chicken after seeing what they do, but kuddos to those that have any plastics done.  To me that takes more nerve than WLS.  Jane

Oh yes, I have them and they are going away with injections as soon as I am at goal. The PS I spoke to does not want to do anything while I am still losing, but Juvederm here I come next year!!

Gosh, I was just thinking about this. I'm 37, and of course, have a plump face, and wondered if after surgery and I start losing I'll get wrinkles/look older.

I'll be more happy to be getting healthy, but it's still something I wondered about.

Good luck. I hope they go away for you :)

At 61 I thought my face would be bad but not so far but my neck and the rest of me difinitely wrinkle city but my Marine says who cares because i'm so much better than before and will get even better! Lol I was 165 when we started dating about 14-16--1970--carried my weight well then dropped to 132 --- I looked Elvira, the horror movie host when I was young--- after we got married and every weight in between that and to 392 in 2011. You are young so wrinkle s may not be so bad but if they are just look at it this way you are a new improved you and able to do so much more! I feel it sometimes and realize if my Marine doesn't care as long as I'm healthy and we can go and enjoy life what difference will it make! So I can live with them! Will remind me how far I came and not to go back there! You are doing great! So happy for you!
