Some days I'm soooo hungry, other days not.
Some days I can't seem to eat enough. I feel like I'm starving. Other days I could care less if I eat. Even on the days I'm "starving" I still eat much less than I did before my WLS.
Is it normal for us to cycle like this sometimes?
I have big pouch and little pouch days myself! Like you say, the big pouch days are no where like pre-op, and my little pouch days feel like the newbie post op days.... Must be normal :)

It's normal for me.

Yeah, seems fairly normal to have "big pouch days" and "little pouch days". Most of the time, I'm somewhere in the middle.

My 'big pouch' days are always right before my period. Then there are days like today where I am seriously struggling to get all my protein in because I just DO NOT want to eat. I forced myself to eat a bit ago and am still 10g short. Ugh! I'll get them in, but man alive, if anyone had ever told me I just would not want to eat I would have said they were cray-cray!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
This was a great topic because I just hit my 10th month mark and have been soooo hungry at times and not hungry at all at other times. In fact, I was sooo overtaken by hunger that I thought something was wrong and went to the emergency room. The ER doc assured me that everything was fine, and suggested that I wasn't getting enough to eat. I didn't agree with that because I'm getting 90 to 100 g of protein a day, and that's whether I feel like it or not. Thanks for asking this question--now I know that it's not just me, but it's the norm.
