stretching your pouch
Well I opened this post expecting to see a lovely, informative post from Kelly. I was not disappointed. (Thanks for the info by the way. I was contemplating this exact thought today). I will say though I am extremely irked by the initial response. I'm sorry she was rude to you Kelly. It was uncalled for and again thank you for sticking around and sharing your wisdom with the rest of us!
Now... I think someone mentioned wine? Grapes are good for you right???
Definitely good for you.

When one "unfriends" someone on this site do they know? Do they get a notification that they were UN friended? I tried so hard to stay out of this, but in the end I just couldn't. As I began reading Kelly's post on stretching the stomach, my reaction was, ...hmm, interesting, good information,.l think I'll actually take the time to thank her for this. Before doing just that, I dropped to the first response by Garnier and my mouth literally dropped upon and rested on my chest for the continuing exchange. The last straw was, "you make me sick",....HUH!!!! WHAT!!!! WTF?!!! Where in the world did that come from?!!!
Uncalled for is an understatement, out of line doesn't even cover it,...it didn't even make sense! It was someone looking for an all out assault, a need to create drama, and maybe a lame attempt to "create a following, a name for herself" by attacking one of the most respected regular posters on this site. I think it has gone horribly wrong for Garnier.
Which leads me back to my original question. She was listed as a friend, I have, after this debacle unfriended her,..will she realize it? Anyone?
Sorry to you Kelly,...on behalf of Garnier.
No, there is no notification if you remove someone as a friend. The same thing applies if someone blocks you. You don't know it unless you realize that you suddenly aren't seeing anything of theirs, or if you see that they were the last one to reply to a post but when you open it you don't see their response. You can, of course, log out of your account and THEN see their posts and replies.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I always find it sad when someone is being overly politically correct and tells people how they should or should not speak and/or act. That's the problem with our country today, people like that who make it more difficult for the "helpers" like Poet Kelly to want to go out of their way to help... Not saying she would stop you from helping Kelly, but it does make some people feel like "why bother". So annoying. And I love all of the veterans advice on here, but if it's a serious medical question, I'm also gonna ask my surgeon's office duhhh !! That would be like me never going to the doctor again and replacing all my docs visits with yahoo answers :/

Yahoo answers are so much cheaper, you know.

Gotta chime in to the Kelly-love-fest...... From my heart, Kelly, I thank you for your words of wisdom and level head in the face of drama. You've won the Yoda award!!!

Kelly,
Thank you for your willingness to share your experiences and the information that you have discovered. I have so appreciated your insight, as well as that of the other seasoned, stable and successful vets.
I rather enjoy reading various and how they're worded. You are one who seems to be deliberate and specific about what you post. Your wording is very clear and concise. It doesn't lend itself to a lot of haphazard misinterpretation, although we all can interpret things differently.
I'm curious as to what part of your opening post would appear to be advice - (but not so much as to desire to start a debate about it).
Please don't allow the thoughts (or concerns) of one poster to inhibit you from aiding the many.
Have a Blessed Day!!!
