Victory!

I guess this counts as an NSV, but either way, it feels great! I just did my first ever 5k! I planned on walking. I told my race buddy I was walking. I didn't want to run, even a step.

But I actually ran some of it! It wasn't much, but I still did it! We did the whole thing, up and down hills, a couple pit stops (you know, to roll in colored corn starch!) and we still finished in just under 47 minutes!

I feel awesome right now!

GOOD FOR YOU!!

I run a 5K either 3 or 4 days a week, depending on the week, and run my first competitive race on Thanksgiving day. I am SO EXCITED for you to have finished your first competitive race!! YAY!

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Congrats!  Its my aspiration - just delayed a bit due to being dehydrated which caused vertigo.  Thought I was drinking plenty but guess I was wrong with all the exercise I was doing.  So anyway that was so awesome - great accomplishment!

Thanks everyone!

Here's what happened when I was done! I'll definitely sign up for another one of these soon! Even though it rained, it was still great. Now if I could get the purple and green off of me...
