What's on the menu today, RNY-ers
Hi all!
Day 2 of my business trip and I am finding high protein options everywhere!
Time since surgery: 4 weeks today!
Breakfast: 3 oz of leftover Trader Joe's chicken genovese that I brought in a cooler and oh in my hotel fridge
Lunch: it was a sandwich and salad and antipasti bar. I took 3 oz of lunch meat turkey and 1 oz of cheese. Everyone else had piled high plates (as I would have in the past too!)
Snack: 1 tall Starbucks coffee with 2 Splenda and a splash of fat free milk
Dinner is a sit down affair so I am sure I will have some salmon or chicken that is oily ugh.
So far today I am at 380 calories and 54 g of protein and a ton of fluids.
Pretty happy and also proud, if I may pat myself on the back lol

Breakfast- protein shake
Snack - Greek yogurt with almonds
Lunch - protein bar
Snack - apple slices with almond butter
Dinner - apple slices with almond butter (hey, it was really good when I had it for my snack, so I wanted more)
I dunno what my bedtime snack will be.

Time out from surgery: 1 yr 6 days
Breakfast: Protein coffee
Lunch: Tuna salad wrap
Snack 1: 1/4 cup peanuts
Dinner: Grilled Tilapia 4 oz, 1/4 cup peas
Snack 2: Not sure yet, probably hummus with pita chips
Totals so far Calories 599, Protein 64 grams, Carbs 25 grams, Fat 30 grams
Vitamins and water are in process

Lunch:2 ounces of liver wurst

Dinner: omelet with ham and asparagus
since we are eating so late I don't think there will be a snack but maybe hot chocolate with protein powder'
Got all my water in today and vitamins
exercise: Went out to the wood pile and piled wood then brought fire wood into the house.

About 4 1/2 months since surgery.
Breakfast - One scrambled egg with a small bit of diced jalapenos and low fat cheese.
Snack - 2 pita chips with a small amount of neuf-chatel cheese.
Lunch - Naked grilled chicken nugget with a little bit of steak sauce.
Dinner - 1/2 of a grilled shrimp skewer from Captain D's (3 medium sized shrimps total...saving the other half for tomorrow).
Liquids - Already got well over 64 oz of H20, not to mention 2 cups of coffee, one with half a scoop of protein powder mixed in.
Vitamins - On track and done for the day.
Exercise - Walked about 45 minutes before an audition tonight.
