surgery in 6 days!

I have been "dieting" my whole life. I started thinking about the gastric bypass in 09 when a friend of mine was having it done. I decided to eat healthy and work out and do it on my own. Weight was always harder to come off for me because of PCOS. I started seeing specialists and trying new meds to regulate my hormones and insulin hoping this would help my weight loss. Even with the healthy eating and exercising, i barely lost weight. I went to the bypass seminar and researched this surgery for years. I went through all the testing and then decided to give it one more try on my own. I saw a nutritionist and hired a personal trainer. I ate right and exercised 5 days a week. I did this for 7 months! I only lost 8 pounds! Thats when I decided to go ahead with the surgery. I will use this as a tool and continue with my personal trainer once i am medically cleared. My biggest fear is that I will not lose the weight. I am starting to get cold feet! Please tell me its worth it!

130+ pounds lost and no complications later... I think it has been MORE than worth it.

I am 12 days from surgery.  I have nothing to lose but money and everything to gain.  God bless you on your surgery.

I had the same problem before.  I had surgery on November 7th, 2013 and as of today, I have lost 60lbs!  If you use the tool right, you'll gain control of you life again.  I don't regret it... at all!

It is SO worth it!

My only regret is not doing this 10 years ago!

The key is to FOLLOW YOUR PLAN and not be finding ways around the true, straight path.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
