What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?
Good morning all! I have a somewhat uninspired menu today, so inspire me!
B: 1 oz egg whites, 1 slice of cheese, 2 slices of turkey bacon
L: 3-4 oz. of HOT Nando's peri peri chicken breast
D: 3-4 oz of oven-roasted Amish chicken (I am going out to dinner and I have scoured the menu and although this dish costs $24, it seems to be the only thing really on plan and I will just have a lot of leftovers lol)
S: Hopefully none
This will be a good protein day for me - I will be at about 500 calories, 16 g of fat, 5 g of carbs, and 72 g of protein!!!
No exercise planned since I am going out right after work. I am going out with a friend with whom I used to share multiple bottles of wine when we went out, so let's see how this goes...
Tomorrow I have support group and then a long walk, and then grocery shopping so I can plan and make healthy meals and snacks all week :) Have an awesome Friday!
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - hot chocolate
Lunch - leftover pizza from last night's dinner
Snack - probably yogurt, maybe an apple (I am out of almond butter, though)
Dinner - tomato soup with shredded chedder cheese
Snack - maybe a protein bar

B. This is very unusal and not recommended. As a Papa Murphy ad for a SuperBowl pizza aired, I told my DH that would be good with an egg for breakfast...Joking! When I got downstairs this morning he asked me if I wanted one. Well, yes! It was good but a little greasy so I don't think I'll do that again.
l. Split pea soup with lean ham.
D. Probably Chicken veggie soup. It is left over, delicious, and I have a terrible head cold.
snack: tuna salad on celery.
