Surgery Tomorrow... Question?

So I was wondering if it is worth bringing my blow dryer to the hospital? Do any of you post-oppers think I will be up to doing my hair? I am one of those that tends to feel like poop if I look like poop.

Now it could be because I had complications, but the last thing I thought of was doing my hair. I didn't even want to take a shower (too much effort) and I'm one that MUST shower every day. I would not waste room in your bag with a hair dryer. Good luck tomorrow!!

Here's an idea...enlist someone to come to the hospital and do your hair for you! On discharge day, my DD surprised me and showed up with all the hair-do accessories to make sure I left the hospital in style, ha. Would I have felt like doing my own hair? Not a chance. You're right, though, I felt better knowing I looked better.

I didn't feel like doing much after surgery except walking, sipping and sleeping. I think the others had a good idea to let someone else do your hair if they can. Good luck with the surgery and hoping for a speedy recovery for you.
