I have just learned from my pre-surgery blood work that I have B12 and iron deficiency. I am taking supplements to deal with both. Does anyone know if this will create issues with having my surgery approved?

They will want to get both built up before surgery, because of the malabsorption after surgery.  With your supplements, it should not take a long time.

I was B12 Deficiency before my surgery and all they did was make me take the supplements months before the surgery. I prefer getting a b12 injection and since I'm low I get them every 2 weeks. If you have concerns you can also contact you clinic or surgeon. Best of luck
