What's on your Thursday menu, RNYers?
G'morning all!!
Phew, survived Halloween and didn't go off plan. That's a HUGE accomplishment for me. We had tons of kids trick or treating and the costumes were just adorable. We ran out of the four Costco size bags by 8:15 pm so turned off the outside lights. The party was great too. I, personally, am very proud of my creations, of course copied from Pinterest but still. Attached are some pics of the foods I prepared for the party. It was a blast; cookie monsters, witch's broom sticks, bloody eye cheese spread, and the pumpkin that is throwing up guacamole. I'm also attaching some pics of our front door. Kids were so excited and kept saying they liked our decore.

Thanks!! I love doing parties, but if you asked me to cook every day I hate it. I saw this on a momming blog a couple of days ago and it's so me..."I'm all for being their mom and feeding them and stuff, but planning dinner every night for 18 years just seems a little excessive!!"

Congratulations on staying on plan in spite of not just Halloween, but throwing an awesome Halloween party! That took true resolve! I love, love, love the hanging witch hats - if I have a Halloween party in the future, may I copy that? Looks so otherworldly and Harry Potter-esque! Not to mention all that fabulously spooky, fun and I'm sure delicious food!
