What's on your PHOTO FRIDAY Menu, RNYers?

No photos from me today, but I thought we could all use a little positivity this morning!

Sorry for being MIA yesterday. You would not have believed the day I had. Remember the pepper spray incident on Tuesday? Nothing compared to yesterday which had (amongst other things): (These are all UNRELATED, btw...) 2 calls to police, 3 ambulances that took kids to the hospital, 1 whole school evacuation (because of an actual fire on the 3rd floor). Yes my school was actually on fire yesterday... in the most literal and figurative sense... Is it the weekend, yet?

Accountability: Well all of this nonsense started at 11:40am, and I had been weirdly hungry before that, so I had eaten my breakfast, morning snack and 1/2 of my lunch already. Thanks goodness--because I didn't have another bite until 8pm when I came home and my hunny made me steak :)

QOTD: Product alert! What is your new favorite WLS related product--vitamins, food, etc? I have been getting the Keto Krate for a few months and I really like being able to try out different products. Yesterday I had buffalo cheese crisps that were delish!

B: Starbucks Egg Bites & Almond Milk Flat White

MS: Powercrunch Bar

L: Chicken with Fire Roasted Veggies

AS: Greek Yogurt

D: WINE lol.

Oh, Julia! You have had so much going on! I hope that you are able to get through today and get some peace and relaxation this weekend! Kuddos to Grim for making you a steak!

Well, today I am teleworking, thank goodness! I put on the fa la la for the party on Wednesday but I am seriously tired and crashing now. I've included the picture above of me with COFFEE!

We had planned to go to Longwood Gardens this weekend for the Christmas festivities but it is supposed to rain all weekend and we cancelled. I am SO glad not only because I don't want to walk around in the rain but because I just need to be around home. I'd like to do some baking and making lists for the upcoming holiday dinners that I am hosting. I look forward to it but I will be busy and need to stay organized. Also wrapping gifts and packaging the baked goods.

QOTD: I have to say that my favorite protein snacks are the TJ's Salmon jerky. Very few carbs and lower in sodium. Also not a tough. I also love the Stryve Beef biltong but it is pretty pricy so I don't get it very often.

Menu:

B: ham, COFFEE!

S: probably more ham

L: TJ's chicken sausages, baby carrots

S: Isopure apple pie protein shake

D: not sure but maybe a crab cake if we go out!

Exercise: I'm like to do a couple of miles on the treadmill today. It is supposed to be raining and I did a heavy workout with my trainer last night so no weights today.

Are you in MD, DE, or PA? I live about a 1/2 hour from Longwood in Maryland - we haven't been in years. I was thinking of driving to Herr's this weekend since they decorate and I don't have to get out of the car but I could still see lights, LOL.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

We live in Hyattsville, MD and I work on The Hill in DC. Longwood Gardens isn't that far especially if we are also visiting my Mom in Little Britain, PA. We go a couple of times a year and have membership passes. Herr's is really nice for the lights too. Hope you get to go.

I got it on clearance from Halloween but it says how I feel sometimes in the morning so I don't plan to pack it away any time soon!
