milk.. making my tummy churn!

Is it normal that i used to LOVE a COLD glass of MILK.. and now... one sip makes my tummy just CHURN... i have tried lactose free regular whole.. and skim....  

One sip is all it takes and im churning something Nasty really...  

Is this a normal occurance?

Yes...lots of people can't tolerate milk post op.  I would just stop drinking it for now and maybe try again in a month or so.  You can try the almond milk or soy milk and see if you can drink those.

so weird...  thanks though for the response..im at least not alone now that i know ppl cant tolerate it too...

 I have same exact proble. NEVER had an issue prior to surgery, but when I drink/eat milk/dairy now, it sends me straight to the toilet. I hear it's common to be lactose intolerant after VSG. But also heard it may just be temporary.

I can't do milk anymore. Try either almond milk or soy milk. I prefer the almond milk and don't suffer anymore.
