Today I started my low/no carb diet, I think I read more labels today than I've read in a while. Man everything has carbs, I bought some skim milk for my shake and it had 13gm of carbs so i gave it away and used water with my shake "Yuck",I guess I'll read the label on the soy milk tonight. Well tomorrow is another day.

God Bless

LOL   funny that you counted the hours,  i just counted the days.   I personally like the almond breeze better than the soy milk,  try it .   Congratulations on your surgery,  you will be so glad that you are doing this,   it truly is a miracle.   Take care  :o) Jeani

Not sure how many carbs are in soy milk, but the vanilla one at Costco is super yummy and I use that in my shakes.

It's impossible to get no carbs... So, don't freak out when you read labels. Just try to keep your carbs to below 50g per day. Skim milk is good for you... So is plain soy milk. I drink Silk Lite Vanilla... Not zero carbs, but low enough.

Are you excited about your surgery? Hopefully you're easy to make this change! It's a bumpy ride in the beginning, but nothing too awful. Good luck and keep us all informed as to how you're doing!

Not sure if you've heard about the awesome ready made Premier Protein shakes that you can get at Costco. There are 18 in a box for roughly $24. They come in chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate is pretty tasty, the vanilla is ok, tastes best when its extremely cold. 160 cals, 30grams of protein, and 1 gram of sugar, 2 net carbs. #WINNING! LOL
