so what are you sitting in or sleeping on after returning home? My bed sits fairly low so im not sure if I should maybe get a walker to help stand up or maybe get a comfy recliner what do you think?
Im getting sleeved on the 27th with a ventral hernia repair at the same time so it will be an "open" procedure not laproscopic.

I am sleeping in my bed..which hurts like crap!  My husband bought me a few body pillows that are useless.  Get a recliner if you can.  I find myself sleeping in the most nights!

Post-op I spent my first week sleeping in a recliner before transitioning back to my bed.

Dhabs,
I had a similar problem (bed was too low to the ground and it was upstairs). after surgery i slept in the guest bed downstairs or in my Lazy-boy recliner. That liquid pain medicine they gave me kept me pretty comfortable (Vicodin in a bottle). I only spent about 5 days downstairs, after that I was ok to go back up to bed... Craig
