Small Tweaks Hopefully Mean Changes!!
So after reading a plethora of post about how much people eat and what not I decided to re-evaluate the amounts of food I was consuming. It's not that I was eating more than my nuts recommendations or anything..
I made small tweaks like instead of having 3oz of chicken I had 2oz, 1/4C egg whites instead of 1/2C, and so on.. Also started literally measuring things instead of weighing them..
First thing I noticed.... was nothing... I was still satisfied and didn't feel any more hungry eating the smaller amounts of food.
Second my calorie intake is a few hundred lower than my old "normal" day. Which I'm hoping will benefit me.
I'm hoping by making these changes they will pay off either on my scale or with my tape measure. Either one I'm with. Although... I'd sure appreciate my scale if it moved 1 more pound.. that's going to mean 90lbs lost total and HALF WAY TO MY GOAL!!!
Hope you all have a great evening!

That should work well and pull those inches/pounds off. I have been trying the same thing, had to quit grazing on pork rinds and almonds and just get back to basics, like the measuring idea too!! Wish I was one of the posters that are trying to keep from losing more.lol

Yeah but I can't seem to get it off, guess I need to double up on the treadmill, I'm a yr out this month so I can eat more and have gotten spoiled to being able to snak. Old habits... I guess can and do come back but I dont have to let them.

Kelby.....
You broke the code !!!!!
I hesitate to mention this online here.....because many won't agree......
But you hit on one thing.....if I have done anything differently than most.......
Think about it..... we got fat because we ate to much..... we ate till we were full.....and than a little bit more.....
A lot of people get the sleeve and still try and eat as much as they can, when the real skill is to see how little you can eat (keeping within your eating requirements) to be satisfied. I to have found out that I can eat less than my sleeves capacity and still feel satisfied and go 3-4 and sometimes 5 hours before I eat again if I have to.
The potential benefits are huge!
- Greater weight loss
- Creating better eating habits
- Preserving your long term restriction
Keep it up !

Oops.. Didn't know there was a "code"!! Shame on me!! Do I have go to VSG jail now??
I think it was actually something you posted in regards to the measuring by volume, not weight. I figured why not try doing things that way.. Frisco MIGHT know what he's talking about!!!
My nut and surgeon both really stress the eating until you're statisfied... NOT full. You're absolutely right.. That's what go us fat! I personally don't like the feeling of being full and wanting to go into a food coma...
I'm just shocked to know that I am still satified with these smaller portions... I wasn't getting full before on what I was eating, but I guess I just wasn't taking the time to figure out when I was satisfied!
