Happy to be home!

I had my surgery Wednesday, 4-6, and came home Saturday.  
Feeling great !   Passed my leak test with flying colors!  
Boy, when they told me to practice taking sips, I did not know how little the sips would be!  Takes so long to get the fluids down.   But, each day is better, and I can now swallow fluid rather than letting it drip down my throat! 
My pain has been minimal.  Had a small setback Friday, so they kept me over an extra day for which I am greatful!  
Not liking the liquid pain medicine, but tolerating it out of necessity! 

Nothing feels so good as getting home and back in my own bed!  

I had a special visit from Trish_Trish while I was in the hospital - so  enjoyed the visit!   so nice to actually meet someone from OH who has been thru this, and with the same Dr. as well!   She gave me lots of good advice!

Congratulations on your surgery.  I'm so glad you are doing so well.  Trish is a doll.  You'll be feeling so much better soon..  The first couple of weeks were the hardest for me but so worth it.  Enjoy the new and improved you.  Remember  walk, sip, rest and repeat  :o) Jeani

 I have been mixing my meds with apple juice, that cuts down alot of the yucky taste.
