OMG Moments today!

I went into a thrift shop today to look for some jeans. I have been wearing 14's from Old Navy. They were the last pairs of pants I owned from when I weighed less... And they have been too big for the past week or so. I decided to look for 12's and if they fit, they fit... And if they didn't, I could save them for when I've lost some more. As I was looking through the jeans, it hit me: I will NEVER have to shop at Lane Bryant again! I will NEVER be above XL ever again! I will never have to pay extra for being a 1x or 2x or 3x... Because I'll NEVER be that size again! I started crying right there in the thrift shop... Tears of joy at this second chance at life that I have been given! Today, I weighed 174. Checked my BMI and I'm no longer "Obese". Now, I'm simply "Overweight". Bout two pairs of size 12 jeans and a large tee and they all fit! I am truly in heaven!! All this AND IT'S 4/20!! Happy 4/20 to all!

You are an inspiration...in more ways than one.  First -- NSV is great.  I'm surfing the site to keep my face out of the feed bag.  Just posted a help cry and thought I'd go fake shopping to get me out of the house tomorow.  Thrift stores...perfect.  I might even find a festive frock for Easter.  Rock it!

Thrift shops are the best! The jeans I bought were $2.99 and $1.99 and the tee was $.99. How can you go wrong?

It's alot of fun to go shopping at the thrift store. The really fun part is, that the smaller I get, the easier it is to find really good brand name clothes that someone else has outgrown and donated. I have found some cute things. I know I sure can't afford a whole brand new wardrobe all at once.
