i am 9 months out and i still have the butt pain.  some people have written that they still have it years out.  maybe it depends on how large we were when we started

Great job!  Sorry to hear that about the bumm bumm though :-(

What does weight loss surgery have to do with it?  I don't understand, though I have heard it before...

I have a seriously sore assbone too.  Not the tailbone, the buttbone.  All my padding is now hanging down in sharpei wrinkles (now THERE's an image, huh?).  I'm delighted with my weight loss, and for the first time in 20 years I'm going on an actual vacation in June, but I dread the long airplane flight.  I CANNOT sit for more than a few minutes without wriggling or getting up.  No idea what I'm going to do, short of bringing my own eggcrate foam padding on the plane.

I don't know if we will ever be free of the butt pain,  my husband is one of those fricken naturally thin types and says to me all the time,  now you know what I go through all the time.  I think it is just one of those things thin people suffer from.

Damn thin people.................never knew that and that thin people are cold too,  even when it's warm........shoot.......but it is so worth all the pain and discomfort!!!!!

I was at my brother's house sitting in wrought iron patio furniture.  I said I must have lost my ass because it hurt to sit in that chair.  My darling brother took a look and said, "Nope, its still there."  Ahhh, got to love brothers!

Get yourself a donut pillow to sit on or a ****yx pillow. This site gives you an idea of what to look for. Hope this helps: http://www.****yx.org/coping/cushions.htm
